Video Game (in progress): Tale of Sherat
Characters (from left to right): Anyanestellia (a.k.a. Anya) - Virtue of Love and Yanax - Sin of Lust

The above picture is a fight between Anya and Yanax occurring sometime after the events Chapter 36 of the Tale of Sherat. The two are supposedly fighting on top of a castle turret in one part of Sherat Castle. There is a long, complex history in the ongoing feud between Anya and Yanax, which probably culminates to one, if not the biggest, one-on-one duels depicted here.

The picture also represents the completion of my part of the art trade with the creator of the Tale of Sherat, none other than ~Masterthecreater.

Of all the pictures that I have done in the past few years, this is probably the hardest one of all. The looming difficulty that constantly hangs around during the process contributes to the significant delay of this picture's timely completion. The difficulty also contributes to the many, many mistakes in this picture. Granted, it's not perfect, nor it will ever be perfect, but I did my possible best. However, through thick and thin, I had some fun making this and I learn several new things in the process.

This is completely amazing, my good friend. Wow.
You shaded so carefully, the castle looks so good, and to be honest, it *feels* just like you could be playing this game as they are battling. ^_^

What a great gift for Alex! I know it was an art trade, but wow, you poured so much into this. It is just fantastic. It really shows.

The careful design of the castle spires (towers? sorry I got the terms wrong, most likely) and their placement in the background looks great, pulling your eye back to the 3D space while not distracting from the two characters mid-battle.

The brown hues here bring this whole piece together. It is so gorgeous that way.

Their battle stances are even very realistic, too. Anya is blocking that attack, perhaps a little thrown off by the move but determined to strike again, based on her expression.

This is so very, very cool. I can't say it in enough words. ^_^

It's okay. In a way, I'm glad that this picture has the power to remind you of that - and I do not mean that in a bad way.

Thanks for the comment by the way.
